Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but does any one know if the jpm + ace machines spinshow numbers? a few ppl might not know what I'm on about but if any do can you let me know. Just wondering if it's possible to kill a machine as you can for real! Cheers!

Yes, all the old spinners (Arcadia, Ceasars Palace, Red Arrow, Red Alert etc) did use to show certain numbers when they were ready or playing fair. But we use to call them spinners because all the JP features use to spin the reels (shoot em up, wild thing, roman reels etc) with out being able to hit these for JP 9 out of 10 times the machines worth useless for profit but nice to place :D

I don't think I expalined my first msg properly, what I meant to ask is do they show numbers on the emulators? like will a £15 red arrow stop showing bonus numbers on the right + 54 or 71 when it is dead on the emulator?

Yes, they aren't just emulators. they have (practically I think) exactly the same rom as inside the actual fruit machine. if you look into the settings they record ammount of money in and out etc along with payot percentages.

it truely is as close as you'll get to playing for real without the money.

(no win or lose) always walk out even lol

So, if say you've just taken £250 out of Club Casino Crazy, it'll play like a bitch (no offence to people of this nature lol) for a good 400 or 500 at least

so, in the same way, when it's happy you'll know

ok i just thought I'd ask cos it seems like you can play them forever and they never stop showing the right numbers whereas in real life they will only have a certain amount of profit before they stop showing them, then after a certain amount of money they'll start again.

Is that the same for machines likeBattle Axe?? when the machine isn't being played it'll sit on 4's or 9's then you'd look another day it'll be on a 7 or something.

I often wondered if this was a way of knowning if it was going to play well or not. Obviously I know some times it's where people have played the machine and that is the number they ran out of credit on.

Okay then... I've seen on machines when you collect your winnings a CL flashes. What does this mean (BWB Jackpot Jokers especialy) I've aslo seen Jackpot Jokers CL flashing when no one was playing it. I took this as a good sign and put a pound in. Within £5 i'd won over £80

red alert, impulse 5-liner and hi-roller all stop numbering in the emulator when they aren't ready. The reason they may keep spinning for a long time when you first play them is because as mentioned before you normally need to put a good lot of money through jpms before they settle down and play more like they would in the wild.

....but he said 'CL' was flashing, which suggests to me the wrong lamp would be in the CL lamp holder?!

I've seen that before, where the logo at the top of Barcrest Genesis machines on the vac formed coin bit flash, in sync with lights on the attract mode :S
