Hi

Has anyone got a manual for a psycho cash beast club or know where I can get one from?

Thanks

Nigel

It's a very interesting machine, definitely one of my favourite clubbers. I had most experience on Club Frenzy, which was basically the same thing just in the 'Tall Genesis' cabinet.

It used Barcrest MPU5 hardware, which is probably about the most reliable, and easy to find spares for, at least in my opinion. Pretty much all Barcrest MPU5 machines are the same hardware just with different glass, sounds and ROMs, so once you've worked on one you've basically seen them all. There's an MPU5 manual hosted on the site here :

... but if you need any specific help, or the manual doesn't have what you are looking for, let us know!

If you are after the exact manual for it, I'm not aware of a scan but it's quite a common home-use club machine, so someone may have one they can scan. I'll be honest though, most of the manuals that come with machines are of very little use, they cover a large amount of things you will never need to know, the playing advice in them is normally completely wrong, and basically they aren't necessary to maintain the machine.

theres a classic dip switch setting that makes the machine have `crazy` spins, two spin down and 2 spin up randomly!

Seen a few jpms do that as well.

Was that the old 'turbo' play, typically for lower stakes but higher jackpots? Once played some JPMs that did that, sure they were 5p play for £250 jackpot, probably some old loophole for having larger jackpots on a lower license fee?

Thanks for the replys chaps
I bought this machine because in a previous post it was recommended as a good machine by nails & several others.
Bought for £50 with a hopper fault which is now fixed.

Can someone tell me what the barcrest button does? & is it possible to fit a note acceptor to this machine?

Thanks
Nigel
