hi, i saw on a scorpion 5 machine advert has apic fault . anyone know what that is? is it short for something? what do they mean? cheers for help in advance

Probably means that they need a PIC chip for the ROMs they have put into the machine. If you know a supplier with a Bell Fruit account you may be able to get a PIC chip for the machine for a few quid.
However it is possible that the error could be caused by something else.

if its the 4 machines on ebay then its the security pic chip that sits on the game card . blood hard to get hold of

Or the extra pcb thats run`s from the serial port bottom right and bunny hop`s on top another loom on scorp4 unit apart of the dereg setup
