...
...and won't be either - the emulator isn't being tackled by any coder at the present time, as far as I am aware.

As said above, no emulator author is working on this kind of thing at the moment.
Firstly, it's WAY too recent, and Electrocoin aren't the sort of company who would take emulation lightly, at least given my impressions of them. Getting machines like this running could potentially (but not necessarily definitely) cause all kinds of legal issues.
Secondly, the main focus of emulation (at least to the majority of active users within the community) is about preservation of machines which can no longer be found out 'in the wild'. There's hundreds (actually, THOUSANDS) of these machines, and their clones out there, from all kinds of companies.
The only real purpose of emulating something like this at the moment would be to try and work out playing strategies / emptiers, and that is against the wishes of any of the current / previous emulator authors.
Basically, as it stands, you'll be waiting a long, long time before machines like this are emulated. Don't hold your breath

Bet it is emulated
It is possible that these are emulated, I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't be at all surprised if many of the recent machine emptiers were also worked out with the help of an emulator.
Having said that, there is no evidence that they are done, I merely wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that there was an emulator after all.

Electrocoin..... not a chance, as they do fiercely protect their products..... Look what happened with Coinworld for a start, and you will see what I mean.

Yup, I remember that one
I wasn't sure however about Electrocoin because of the recent posting about them having stopped their manufacturing? Having said that, these 'Electrocoin' pub machines are basically just rebrands of existing machine software which seems to be doing the rounds at the moment as a cheaper alternative to Deal or No Deal. They probably still release machines under that name, but it's basically just Bell Fruit cabinets and presumably Bell Fruit hardware.
I wouldn't run the risk with them though

They are still trading (Mark Strguess, etc), but it's their cab division that has gone bust.
They are now pretty much using Bell-Fruit's gear (Certainly using their cabs), although I am not sure yet what operating hardware they are using yet (Got a feeling they are now using scorp6).

The machine I have (circa 2000 Electrocoin Bar X Ten) is in a Bell Fruit casino cabinet, and uses a Bell Fruit PSU (this could have been a later modification though, it's a Sanken from a Scorpion 4 clubber? Must have some kind of adapter for the mainboard, haven't really looked into it). I don't how how their operation worked - whether Bell Fruit made the cabinets and sent them to Electrocoin, or Electrocoin sent their hardware to Bell Fruit who made the whole machine?!

All depends on cost end of the day, but it would make sense for Electrocoin to send over to Bell-Fruit's main site @ Leen Gate, in Lenton, Nottingham (Side of the QMC) the kit needed, and get Bell-Fruit to do the building, as they have the facilities to do it at least, and even more so now their cab division has gone tits up.
Having said that though, you look at how Maygay used to do things, when they had Potterson's build their cabs (I believe same company also did JPM's Vogue cab range too, and I am pretty sure at least with the earlier stuff, did Electrocoin's).
