....I would assume that you wouldn't need a driver - what is it you are trying to do?
Have you tried the Samsung website? Most manufacturers will host drivers, normally under the heading of 'support'.
Failing that, try somewhere like www.driverguide.com
And if that doesn't work, google for 'Samsung DVD Driver' or some other words like those

Just go into your CMOS settings (del on boot) and tell it to autodetect IDE1 (do you have the jumper set right ?)
