). Anybody able to help? Cos i like new things, and to me this is new. Cheers for any info guys.

I'm sure I hosted loads in a previous thread. Have you done a Forum Search for MAGE?
Failing that, the majority of MAGE releated threads are over at www.fruitforums.com , and possibly www.mfme.co.uk .

I don't know how to change the link in question, but instead of 'mametesters.com' , it should read 'mametesters.org' .
Also, the MAGE homepage is now http://magesrc.sf.net , if that can be changed.

Nah, BellFruit Quintoon, you have to get 5 stacks of 21 to get a prize, and gamble that prize to the JP based on a set of 25 or so cards. You have to determine whether the 3 or so cards, face down, selected by the computer are worth MORE or LESS than 21. It shows the cards briefly to start with, I thought I'd make a note of them [good ol' pause button
], and see how it goes

I think Deal 'Em was a BWB using Barcrest MPU4 Video tech. If thats the case, it'll no doubt have the same encryption issues as normal BWB fruit machines

It works fine in MAGE as a driver has been built so no more locking up

 got the f***er running now, but a few extra problems. Pontoon, keep getting a hopper empty error, how do i refill the hopper? (Hoppers in 1985 were a bit ahead of themselves were they not?). Also id there any ways to add new games? To the list i mean? Games like Reno Casino and Quintoon, i have all the necessary ROMs, but they are not on the game list and i don't know how to add games. Plz help, El Condor?
Cheers guys

Hmmm....Hoppers would be unusual in that age of machine. Not only that, but AFAIK - same as the Fruit Machine Emulators - the hopper 'balance' has no effect on payout. That means that while the machines RAM may say 'hopper £1 balance = £0', the emulator will 'pay out' as it emulatesa coin passing through an opto.
I'd guess MAGE was the same, independant of hopper/tube balance?
I've been running MAGE without a frontend, using some batchfiles I made to run the individual games.
Basically
a) Make sure you have the latest MAGE version.
Keep all of your ROMs in a folder called 'ROMS', within the MAGE folder.
c) Keep the ROMS in their original ZIP files.
d) Make a new 'txt' file for each game you want, called for example Quintoon.
e) Write it as follows :
MAGE xxxxxxxx where xxxxxxxxx is the machine name, an example being
MAGE bfmqntn where bfmqntn is the name of BFMs Quintoon.
Basically repeat that for all machines.
I've not tried using MAGE with Emuloader yet [IMHO the best MAME frontend - is shows all the game names and settings and settings and stuff, no need for command line parameters and batch files
] - apparently it'll work ok.
Failing that, use the command prompt in Windows [either go to Command Prompt if that exists, or Start/Run 'cmd', or Start/Run 'command'.
If you have any other probs, let us know!
I'd basically say downloading the latest MAGE binary would sort out your problem
