Hey peeps, i finally got around to trying your loayout, i used to love this game, i have read the info on how to get the sound to work but still cannot find the bloody "Current Tech" button in "options". I have the latest version of amber and i ran it as administator, i appreciate Bencrests thumbnail of where the "serial ver" button appears, any chance of a thumbnail for the "current tech" button for me im a bit of a thicko lol.

Also i read someone say Crystal Games cant be emulated for MFME but i have Treasure Quest on MFME and im sure thats a Crystal game....

Ah ok thanks for the replies, well i found the thread on DADS earlier and downloaded version 25 of amber, when running the exe file from winrar i got "Runtime error 438 - object doesnt support the property or method", i tried version23 too and got the same message. I even downloaded the latest version of winzip and ran the exe with that instead and it gave me the exact same message!

I had this problem but can't find the thread what you have to do is go to where amber files are stored (mine is in program files) delete the project amber installer and replace it with version 25 (see pic) don't try and run version 23- 25 as they are not installer packs

Any working links for project amber? I would love to play a bit of frank N stein.

 

Ok I found the link on here but I get a DX8VB.DLL error with it, I tried re-installing direct X.

Wait a week or so before downloading as guitars releasing an updated version of project Amber with the Amber layouts 're-released
