Bellfruit had decided it now wants a share of the cashbox by announcing all new machines will be fitted with a security dongle that will allow the machine to work for a specific amount of time. after this has expired the owner can either purchase a new dongle to make the machine work - or throw the machine on the scrap heap.
best bit is that bellfuit uphold this idea/decision claiming that the high rise in machine costs and copyrights etc have forced this move
LIKE WE WANT TO SEE ANOTHER BLOODY DEAL OR NO DEAL
why not just release the new machine as monolopy version #62 or cops and robbers whatever you like?
the move will see companies change their orders in droves to the likes of other hi techs from electrocoin, reflex and also to have barcrest video compendiums in pubs. most pubs have down sized the amount of machines as they couldnt even make the AMLD let alone make a profit, now faced with a potential £1000 bill per year on top is the most rediculous company announcement ive ever heard.

Think this may have a lot to do with Bell-Fruits new Austrian owners, Novomatic, aka Astra

because the barcrest company has been taken over by Global draw (coral roulette machines) and they have stated they have stopped production of reel based machines.
personally i think bellfruit stands to lose alot of money with this venture

Yeah i knew about that, but whats to stop red gamin breaking away from it,they ain't gonna make any video based red machines,so the name should go fro pretty cheap, then hey presto get coining in.
