Heres how this layout looks at the moment. It does have reels, but they are off to the side of the layout with the other lamps and buttons :)

Oh, the buttons won't be Spanish in the final version!

I'm sorry if people don't like the cabinet, but seeing as how this machine was released in a Red Electra cabinet, you can't say its unrealistic :D

This is a 1280, possible 1024 available in the future depending on college commitments!

The JPEGging, as usual, makes the layout look darker than it is, but not by much. I'd put a BMP up but don't want to hurt those either on 1Gb limit ADSL [ :p ], or on Dial-Up [ 8O ]

Points worth noting :

The blokes face at the bottom left - not a clue, I'll see if I can get rid of it :D
The £7 not being lamped - the ROMs have a £10 win there rather than £7 - it isn't stake dependant, so I'll have to redraw that bit!

EDIT] I have added a pic for ADSL users that comes in at approx 400kb

I agree. The lamping looks most impressive.

If you need help on the disc-reel, then check out Serene's JPM DX of Bigbanker.

He devised an ingenious workaround for the disc-reel. :)

Cheers for the comments :)

I've 2 different ways of sorting out the disc reel, which I will be looking at tomorrow when I get back from college,

I've had a look at different ways of lamping, using the Photoshop omnilamp as per usual.

This is a 1280, and while I would like to do a 1024, I may well try to get someone else to do it [as a tutorial?], as I am going to have LOADS of college work in the near future [trust me to do 2 fasttrack A levels while doing an A2 :o]

Anyway, expect a release by Sunday. It could well be done by Friday, but then again, it may not :)

Well, I had 2 ideas. The one I really don't want to do [shouldn't have to], is the one that exists on the old DX, whereby you make it a single, 2sided reel which is in between the actual reel locations. Looks stupid though, and would leave me with 2 holes to fill in.

The way I think I'll do it is by making one really wide reel, spanning the distance of the disc, with an overlay so that all you would see in normal mode would be the cards in the correct places, while actually the reel would be the area between the cards as well....

I'll let you know when I've tested them both :D
