No idea where to put this really. I was gonna donate (I not sure if the gold donos clearly exist) but I have tried to donate erm I got a error message............I not sure if the download rules/limits still even exist on here? (saying that noticed no new uploads for over 4 years) is there any sites similair to fruit-emu?

The site dead?

I haven't posted for a few years, but just wanted to say thanks to all involved with this site.
It was at the forefront of fruit emu, as far as I can tell.
My first layouts/roms were downloaded from Maroney's Web Hovel.... you'll probably know he is on Youtube under 'Harry Headwound' and advises using https://www.desertis...forum/index.phpfor FME.

Yes the site is dead, but that doesn't mean it's still not a valuable archive resource for FME and fruit machines in general.
There's a wealth of information about many of the actual machines that couldn't be, but can now be emulated, when they were new or upcoming releases. Also plenty of flyers/pics of machines etc....
As a new member, it's pretty outdated and useless, but it contains a lot of information on the history of FME and actual fruit machines, in the 2000's.

If this site was a horse they would take it out to the stables and shoot it in the face.
It's a shame, but I totally agree with you - and coming from a former moderator of the site, it is ironic bud...

It was the place to be, as WAC has said... it was a magical place about 10-15 years ago - the only place to be.
The times move on, as we all do. In fact this is first time I've posted here in nearly 2 years!

Its a shame it cannot be given a dignified sympathetic 'walk away' hate to see it like this rather it be read only and redirect to whats left of FME

Genuine offer, database not arsed about the hosting £100 I will then hand the DB to Pete so it can be made read only and archived.
