Hi,

First post, so hope its ok to post straight in this forum. I've just got my first fruit machine which is a Global, Reel Good Time.

Was fine for a couple of days apart from some strange sound but then started to keep resetting. Through researching I can see battery has leaked and so I either need a new battery or MPU. Can post picture if that's easier

Can anyone suggest where I can get either a battery of MPU from?

Thanks guys,

Steve.

Though Stemik's are good and very reliable (Based in Burton), they are also quite expensive.

Drop a message to the following guy, and see if he can help (eggy-777): http://www.ebay.co.u...=&_trksid=p3686

Ok, have now fitted another MPU. Sat in resetting ram for ages, so turned it off and then in seemed ok. Went in to demo mode and keeps freezing and has to be switched off.

Tried to reset ram manually through procedure, but again just said resetting for ages.

Any thoughts on what to do now?

Sounds like your epoch board. I repaired my simpsons homers meltdown machine. I managed to bridge the wires over the board to the back and replaced the battery with one from a pound store garden light.

You can see my machine here :o)
