Hi,

I am having an issue with my Indiana Jones £70 jackpot machine.

Basically if I enter test mode and dump the hopper balance and it is below £250 (say £100) for example - I put the coins back into the hopper and reinitialise the machine. When I then insert £1 credit; the coin diverts straight to the cash box.

However, when I enter the refill menu the machine believes the £1 coin entered the hopper itself and displays REFILL PND x 149.

When checking hopper levels in the refill menu it states H=101.00 F=250.00.

If i then try and manually refill the coins still divert to the cash box - yet the refill count goes down; and the hopper levels shown go up!?

I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong with the whole hopper dump - I have read the manual back to back and followed it numerous times but still can't shed any light on this issue.

After a short time of use the hopper will eventually end up empty yet the cash box below has loads of £1 coins in. I understand i can put them back in manually but I would rather resolve the issue completely.

I have used a number of machines before but have never had an MPU5 system - perhaps I'm missing a crucial part of teaching the machine the hopper balance and float balance.

No note acceptor is fitted to the machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Rob

Sound like your missing a routing plug or the wrong plug is fitted, hence routing the £1 coins into the cash box.

Does the silver and £1 coins all drop into the same cash box?

Common issue would be coin mech was swapped and plug not re-fitted.

I Agree with StarLeisure. Either your Coin Diverter on the bottom of the coin mech isnt working or broken.. Or the plug isnt refitted.

Basically it wont be your software, it is something to do with the coin mech itself.

I will upload a Video for you in about 10 minutes.. I will go and film it now :D

Thats what this community is all about I think, the amazing amount of help and resources available here! I couldn't believe the help I got 6 months or so ago when I needed a new HD image for my Elvis sit down machine.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies

The coin mech has no routing plug but uses the ccTalk interface. I'm not sure if i read somewhere that the ccTalk interface doesn't require a routing plug to be fitted.
