Hi again guys, i'm sure this is probably covered in the forums somewhere.
but I tried looking but can't find anything about it...

When I quit the site sometimes, sometimes when downloading.
it opens up repeated new windows until my PC freezes, and I need to reboot.

I thought it might just be a problem my end, but this is the ONLY site that does it.

Also I 'tried' to get to Scorpios website from his link, and again I quit the site earlier for tea, and cause I had a window opening which was linked from your site again it opened up hundreds of windows.

Usually I can get around this with ALT F4 to close the windows before they open, but even this didn't work.

is it site protection?

sounds like you have a bad case of spyware....

run adaware or Spybot SD to eliminate them.....


they are both free....for personal use.

Try GIANT Antispyware, only one I've had which has gotten rid of 100% f my current shite!

Thanks RB, I alredy have spybot S+D and Adaware, just guess they're not working as well as I thought.

After running them, I fould a load of spyware which I removed (apparently)
but when I then downloaded GIANT ANTISPYWARE
as recommended by BarcrestBenito
I still managed to find another 40 bits.

Which have now been removed, after a full sweep by everything
I think it's all gone now

I thought it might be spyware as it kept altering my searches.
EG if I went to download.com it would put me to Google.co.uk?

Since I did a full sweep using Giant, I've noticed :

I can now COPY AND PASTE again - previously my clipboard was being replaced with an address for ''http://mx-targeting.com'' - a company which claims it doesn't spy on web usage

I can download without having to use Flashget. If I was downloading using 'save target as', it was corrupting all of my downloads.

I don't get pages full of 'FREE RINGTONE' or 'MOBILE PORN ACCESS CODES' popups anymore

I DON'T get any of the stupid bloody Dialler popups, which were coming from both Pegasus Telecom and an as1.falkag.de address. These were causing my machine to crash all the bloody time - refusing to accept the download sent it to flashget, and for some reason this would crash it on many occasions.

Just a shame I've only got about 10 days left of this trial... but then if software actually works, I guess I'd consider buying it

Just be a bit careful - it will mess up or remove entirely any software which has 'ad supported' features, such as KaZaA or Flashget.

Try surfing with active scripting/javascript disabled. That's what causes most of those things, or get a pop-up blocker, or sp2 for windows xpoo.

disabling script will, of course, make some sites not function but you can either add those to trusted sites or enable for that visit only.
(and through that process you can see if their site is maliciously coded, even down to them putting data-miners on your system, so you can biatch the shiat out of them/post on groups what site 'x' does etc)

The only time anything gets on my box is because of enabled scripting, and i also have almost all the shite services off.
