Hmm, well this is just started for me and for the life of me i cannot figure out what is going on. When i start a game, no matter if i am running BFM, JpEmu or MFME i get the following error code.
Ram file "RAM\game name"is corrupt! Resetting.(zip=00000000 len=0000)
All it seems to really do is reset all saved coin banks and nudges.
A little annoying as i try to break the bank on all the bandits i play, but with them getting reset every-time i close them down, i cannot build up cash-pots or anything else.
PC Specs:
Windows xp x64 SP2 (because SP3 is not used in xp 64bit}
Mem : 4gb @ 1333 MHz
the usual optical drives and plenty of disk space as i have 3 drives in total.
Coincidentally my games folder along with all the roms and files associated with the bandits are on the 450gb drive, there is some 375gb spare room on it, so that's not the problem.
I did re-down load the files again, deleted everything and installed anew, but getting the same error codes, anyone got ideas on this.
PS..........
Up till about 4 days ago, everything was working great, this just started yesterday, i have not installed or updated my system.

Strange, and if memory serves me someone posted a cry for help a while back on the same problem, but I don't remember if his problem got sorted.
If everything was fine until yesterday then I suggest you try a system restore to the nearest date to when the problem arose.
Just a thought, if you have downloaded "AMBER", remove it then reboot and see if it that helps. There may be the odd anomily that will only affect a few users.

Ok, did what you said, so i have my ram files saved to BFMulatorRAM folder and my layouts saved to the following, BFMulatorlayouts, but i still get the error file when i open the game up. I did delete all files and reinstalled again, but no such luck, does the files themselves write to a key file in the registry if so i would need to delete them. Weird why this would only happen suddenly. I did update my windows last night after posting the original message thinking there might be something i needed within windows itself, but alas, nope. Well lets try other options, Jim2311 suggested uninstalling Amber if i had that installed, and funny that he should mention that, that was when i had errors, just after i installed Amber, but since i could not get Amber to work i deleted it, same again, would Amber write to the reg file if so i need to delete that also.

Ok, after painstakingly going through my reg edit, it seems that the only key that writes to the reg file is JpEmu, cannot see anything with BFMulator, Amber nor MFME. I deleted all folders containing the unzipped files, then i deleted all zip files that was stored on another drive, then i deleted the emulator itself. Then i went ahead and downloaded v2.02 and 2.06, installed 2.02 first then after downloading Around the Town (again, lol) i went to play the game, hmmm, same error popped up, so i deleted the unzipped file and inserted the zip file into my bfm folder\layouts, proceeded to play the game from the zip file and you will never guess what, got the same error file. I then deleted v2.02 and installed 2.06 and did the same thing, both times i got the same error file. On a side note I pointed my Ram and layout files as per instructed previously but still no joy, what am i missing, or doing wrong.

The problem with doing that, for example, the cash box when playing Cops and Robbers club version starts of at £60, while playing this increases just as it should do, now when i close down the program and restart another time and i get the error, the cash box has reset itself back to £60 whereas it should be reading lets say i get it upto £82. Anyway, i think i got it fixed, done some tinkering in the setup box, will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the help Tommy c

Ok, update on the ram error files.
Managed to get the problem resolved.
I reset the ram, then saved the layout, now when i go back and play, everything is as it should be. The cashbox saves whatever it was at when i stop playing the game.
Thanks for all the info and feedback guys.
