ive got a barcrest elvis be rio which worked fine...

The top monitor comes on but not the bottom one, it worked fine before transit.

the top monitor comes on and displays the relivant doors open, and normal elvis video when both doors closed. £1 coin accepted, plays music etc and everything is working - just no bottom screen video. now, the monitor says `self test` and can be turned on and off but still displays selt test.

the two monitor leads are tightly screwed into the bottom of the pc and the lead has been traced back to the monitor - also tightly screwed in. the monitor lead has some play room so in other words its not pinched.

any thoughts

going to try the top and bottom monitor in eachothers slot, just to see if the bottom screen is now displayed at the top - to eliminate the screen being faulty

Maybe the port connection to the main board INSIDE the PC has come loose/off.

I had same thing inside my Cashino with the 2 ports at the RHS as you look at PC from the bottom (not the block of 4 together) the little plug was off the board.

It's gotta be worth a look m8, as if it's been in transit it might have done the same.

Let us know how you get on

Phil

EDIT, just read the post again and decided you weren't on about USB port :err: I REALLY should be awake before replying to posts :o
But I suppose the same thing might have happened to the monitor port inside PC

anything is possible, but both ports are tightly screwed in. if the gfx card was loose, niether port would work.

I'd have the PC open and check for loose/disconnected plugs.

If it was fine before transit, surely it can't be much.

All sorts can work loose when things are being transported.

hi nails this happens when one of the monitors is unplugged then the machine is turned on , swopping cables over wont do anything as the machine will now only play on one screen . there is a hidden barcrest windows box on start up where you can go into the 2 screen settings and turn the monitor back on so the pc sees them both
