Heres a similar machine.
Didn't 'Triple Crowns' pay a nice shiny 50p piece from the jackpot symbols? Not bad at all for a 1p a play machine.

i remember playing a couple like that, one of them had 3 red strike symbols which would pay something like 4p or 10p - kind-of skill i think. (was so long ago). one of the symbols was crossed swords too. damn that's going back to like 1979/80.
another bell-fruit from years back, though not quite so far was one that had cups and rosettes on symbols and you had to get either 3 cups or 3 rosettes to get nudges, and <5 nudges you could gamble for double-up.
and back then gambles were decent - i.e. you didn't lose the lot bs, and it didn't drop you down to 40p or some lame crap too .

There used to be a penny arcade on Margate seafront that had about 7 of the buggers. 1p play and 20p JP (if memory serves). It didn't have a start button, only 3 buttons for the holds and a cancel. If you stuck in a 10p coin the damn things would autostart till all your credits were gone (a right pain in the a**e.
Yep definitely had them too.

This one, although not totally clear, shows most of the symbols mentioned. The castles, the cross swords, the crowns and I'm sure BRENCO symbols themselves. They are the reddish ones that pay 27 ways.
