Ok so I recently decided to buy a fruit machine for use in my home! but slowly noticed that if someone at a party I was hosting won on the fruit machine nobody else would go on it because they either seen it get dropped or was told it had been dropped (won some money) so with that I ended up losing quite alot of money that night.
My question is can I change the payout percentage from the 71% or greater it is currently set to, so my friends have a lesser chance of winning? I know this might sound mean to some but I didnt get the machine to lose money and if it was in a pub it would have a constant stream of coin going into it from differant parties? please help.
Regards Mike

Minimum the machine will do is 70 %. That means say if £100 is put in, £70 will be payed back, (theoretically) but this is over a longer period of time so it could be 300 400 or even 500 pounds. Adjusting to 70% from 71% would be pointless anyway as the percentage is a target, most machines are within 2 to 3 percent of there target all the time. You dont want to increase the percentage as the machine will pay back a larger percentage of money. If you want an easy way to make money put say £60 in pound coins in the hopper and press 'Hopper topped up' the machine will think its got a full float of £125 and drop all coins into the cash tray.

Mmm you don't sound like a good friend wanting to rig your machine for your mates ;) as cardie says 70% is the minimum % so just leave it were it is,When these machines go on the take at this low of % they take big style. You will have to play the waiting game for your machine to go on the take.

Well at least "Your Friends" are now aware that it does pay out and should be willing to play it at your next hosting. However, if they got wind of your intentions would they class you as a friend?

if a friend of mine pulled a stunt like you are trying,i would have him strung up by the bollocks mate = surely at a party you would put the machine on free-play ;)

The easiest way to not loose any money, your friends not too loose any money, and to maintain friendships is empty the machine completely and just put it on free play. Ok, it takes half the fun factor out of owning it, but at least that way, no one is out of pocket. Mine always stay on free play.
