Was there no sound roms in the full rom folder on the repro for this? as your asking for soundies it sounds like youv'e cracked the nec chip then for crystal mpu4.

The folder in my Crystal roms pack had no sound in it for AC. I haven't cracked it per se but I am now at the point where I need to test what I have written with an actual rom. I could have used any old sound rom but I already have your layout for AC which will help me in testing.

It's all good sounds like progress is running smoothly which is great.The folder in my Crystal roms pack had no sound in it for AC. I haven't cracked it per se but I am now at the point where I need to test what I have written with an actual rom. I could have used any old sound rom but I already have your layout for AC which will help me in testing.

I have the sounds decoding properly now. Does anyone know how to put a crystal into test mode?
I can get test play, how do you test the sound? Im trying to work out how the game hooks up to the hardware.
I could buzz out the board but my meter is at work.
