Is it just me or does this bother anyone else..ok..heres the scenario.

On a recent trip to blackpool i went into one of the arcades and there was a 5 unit party time arena...One woman was playing 3-4 and 5..and it was either her hubby or boyfriend playing 1 and 2..they had all thier pound coins stacked up in £10 piles in front of each unit..Too bad if i wanted a shot of that i thought..and went away to play the 5p ones..

Having left the arcade and going to the pleasure beach..we returned some 4 or 5 hours later to the same arcade to see the same couple still playing the machines.Is that fair?? shouldnt it be one machine..one person?? mabye its just me but ppl that hog the machines that long really get on my t*ts :twisted: Rant over

I totally agree! See it loads at Hemsby/Yarmouth too. And you know its gonna be the old biddys.

Imagine if it was a younger guy on 2 normal fruities,they would be told to leave the arcade cos the owner would think they were professionals!

Lets just hope this couple were losing lots of money!

I tell you my point of view.
(I am not sure,but I believe that the 5 partytimes are linked together
and have random top feature,which can be given to any of them)
If this is correct,we here in germany have a similar system.
Three machines are linked to a jackpot system.
The thing is,here the maximum value of the jackpot will never be reached.
The maximum payout of this jackpot is put on display as 1000.
But the jackpot will never reach that 1000,but pays out befor that.
When it reaches 999,it will 100% pay,as it is set to pay before reaching
the 1000.
(Of course it can pay at any time before)
But the point is,if you lost alot and managed to get the jp -value up to
say above 900,you know it is due soon,so what you do,is put some money
in the other two machines,because there are these sharks,waiting all day to make a quick bucks without a risk.
Some time ago,we had the problem,that people where complaining to the staff,that someone was engaging 3 machines,but actually only playing one.
What they eventually did,was in favour to the player,playing all linked machines.
They switched the programm so,that every one minute the machine will have one play automaticaly,even so you dont press the start button.
So noone can say,that the person is blocking the machines.
I think this quite fair.
I was at times verry pissed off,when some #@#@#@# joined me,just because the jackpot was due.,thank you very much... :evil:
