Does anyone have any idea how I can stop this alarm going off every time I turn the machine on? I have a super pool epoch tech in maygay cabinet

You need a new battery,can get em off ebay for peanuts.

Great thanks just had a look on eBay and the only thing I found was called a mempack battery I'm assuming its that any chance you know where it goes?

This is the one you mean i think. http://www.ebay.co.u...m4157ac0da9 you need to attach it to your mpu epoch board,can you not see the other battery any were on the board? your best bet is to solder it away from your board using wire so it doesn;t leak over you epoch board,You do need to know how to solder mind.

Well I have done a little soldering in the past but wouldn't be too confident if it needed to.be quite precise tbh I was hoping I could just slot it in

Hi mate i hope i didn't come across as patronising,when i was on about the soldering 
it's simplei'sh to do it's just being carefull,your best bet is to sign up over on the mpu mecca and ask the lads over there to give you an hand on which is the best way to go about it. Link attached.

Got to start somewhere! Just need a steady hand, i did my scorp 4 battery about 2 months ago and found it quite easy
just solderd 3 wires to the battery then solderd the wires to the board its not the neatest but it works!

Very concerned you are in effect getting a battery warning off an Epoch based machine, as when those leak, they have a real bad habbit of trashing the board, and a replacement is required, though you maybe lucky.
Epoch batteries look like this....

Piss easy to fit one, but as others have said, you need to check for battery leakage on the board.
I've sorted battery damage on Epochs before, but it's almost always resulted in me having to replace the board, as they use all surface mounted crap, and the two tracks under the battery, often get screwed over.
The Mecca will be able to support you if you have any problems
