I recently downloaded Club Vegas for the MFME and MPU emulator,

When i try to open the rom it starts to load the layout files but then stops, If i look under Game Manager it tells me Rom Entry Missing.

I tried to download it again but i got the same thing.

Any Advice ? :?:

There was a seperate link on the news article for the ROMs. Some of the designers do not incorporate the ROMs into their layout ZIPs. Here is the link to the ROMs http://www.fruit-emu...op=getit&lid=40

Ahh. i understand how it works now.

Unlike the jpemu roms the mfme requires the rom files plus the dx layouts...

Simple when you think about it really !

Thanks for all the help and the link that was very good of you cheers !!!

*awards brownie point*

Thanks again

Many of the layout designers now incorporate the ROMs and layouts in the same ZIP (especially it seems for JPeMu 1.46 layouts). The vast majority of the MFME files are split into separate ZIPs for the layout and the ROMs.

All very confusing for new users I admit.

It is confusing, having split rom and layout files and merged sets. Hopefully GamebaseFM - the fruit machine front end will help ease this in future, at least I hope so :)
