CLUB "WISH YOU WERE HERE" by Global

Hi all,

Im thinking of selling it as its just stood gathering dust. Its a great machine (or should i say money box) all in working order with manual, keys, spare bulb, extra rom and some plastic cash strips in case you want to change the Jackpot to £250 (its currently set on £75).

I personally think its a great cheeky 4 reel machine with loads of features "Golden Mile/How Bigs Your Rock/Happy Hour/Grab a Big One/Pleasure Beach/Naughty Nudges/Go For Your Melons/One Night Stand/Get It Up/Fruit Cocktail". Also Nudges and Multi's (winspins).

Its got two boards to play, Blackpool (main board) and Barbados (Big money board). Both cashpot and Reserve pot. Not sure what hopper it has but i do know it takes new £2 coins if that helps.

Ive used this as a great way to save my money in the past (and mates&family lol) but now im skint and dont have a penny to put in it. It all works fine and i was thinking of ebaying it but you need to be a licensed reseller or sumut and to be honest i cant be doing with all the hassle, so i thought this would be the best place to either get rid of it or at least find out how much i should advertise it in the local rag.

Any advice or offers appreciated.

cheers

1) Good to see it comes with all the extras [Decals, Maunal e.t.c]

2) New £2 coin means is a good sign, recent coin mech [Hopper makes no difference, will only pay out £1 coins, all others into cashbox]

I'm not sure of the age of this one....I would guess it would be quite old, based on the Scorpion [Bell Fruit] technology, rather than others based on the MPU4 [Barcrest] technology.

I'd say about £150 on eBay on a bloody good day, £100 wouldn't be too bad [say a £125 start and hope for some bids!], if you put in a newspaper, advertise about £150. Not much demand for Club machines for home use as they are f**king nasty to play :(

Still, best of luck selling it, and if you find out what the technology is, that would be useful. On eBay, make sure the photos are good, all reels lined up, all bulbs showing, e.t.c :)

ewwwwwwww...Global.....i know a geezer that will take it away for you...if you give him enough money.....

But seriously...about the £125.00 mark on Ebay....about £200 if put in the local paper...but you have to take advertising costs and possible local delivery into account.....

Fruit machines are all over the place at the moment, and its damn hard to know what to pay/sell for. I know that late 90s machines like Temple Of Treasure, which could have fetched £200 last year, are now going for just over the £100 mark. Similarly, an Andy Capp last year sold for £48, and theres one I seem to remember which is going / has gone for about the £150 mark.

Basically, whatever you paid for it, if you get anything close to 75% back thats a great result, and hopefully the savings cover it.

Also, newspapers are different because people that buy from those see them so infrequently for sale that they will no doubt expect them to be worth more :)
