Gota say im well hooked on wispa gold atm, they went awol for a while-thankfully they back and I hope here to stay.

Jay

They were like bountys except the coconut had sliced cherries in it and there was caramel on top. :) .. I sooo want one now.

I remember when you used to go to the ice-cream van with your 10p pocket money and come back with a handful of sweets..10p these days dosent even buy you a Freddo bar !!!!

Let the nostalgia begin lol.

One of my old faves was what I think was twix put through a mincer lol. It was lush it was toffy with biscuit. The shape was a lot bigger than a meat mincer but it was in long round shape about an inch long each. I loved them biscuits tommy, we had them in the local leisure centres in the machines and cost 20p then they went up to 25p, I think they was tax free thats why they was so cheap.

No no lol, it was like a twix had been stuck through a large mince mixer.

it was straw sized but not as long as a straw. It was lush, also at school we had this one pudding that just melted in the mouth im sure it was chocolate oat delight. It had a dark chocolate on top and then oats and chocolate in like
in like a chewy mix. Mmmmmmm it was lush with chocolate custard, the custard use to melt the chocolate on top and melt into the pudding Also chocolate concert with chocolate pudding MMmmmmmm. All this talk of clats makes me want some right now. GRRRR

EDIT

HAHAaaaa I found it, it was called toffee crumble. I did search for that but nothing came up last time here you go..........

Thease are a clone of the ones from yester year and dont have the same taste but its close enough, the old ones had more biscuit in them.

Does anyone remember when you used to go to your shops and get 'a quarter of' ...Kop-kops..sweet peanuts..bon-bons etc...

There is a sweet shop in my town called 'American Candy' and i was in having a nosey..seen sweet peanuts..thought..i NEED to get them..they were summat like £1.60 ?? and you got about 10 sweets in them ??

Plus..they didnt taste the same..i was very dissapointed .. i need to build a time machine out of a Delorian and go back and get some.

You can get sweet peanuts off eBay

Irvine has got a shop that does all the old sweets, rhubarb and custard, Kola Kubes, Sweet Peanuts, Chocolate Limes, you name it, they've got it.

As for Pacers, weren't they like chewitts but minty flavoured?

I say, bring back Fry's Five Centres!!! :)

Totally agreed Cashbox1. Why you can still get Fry's peppermint and the original but NOT Five Centres, does my head in, lol.

Olde English Spangles, Kung Fu crisps (5p a pack), Tudor Crisps Curry flavour, Bazooka Joe chewing gum (used to collect the cartoons), Double Agents, the list goes on.

sorry for the double post, but couldnt resist these- all us oldies will remember most if not all of them...

3p for a curly wurly =P. Idk it seems as though they discontinue products that sell really well. I use to love these Max Salt N' Vinegar crisps but now you can't buy or find them anywhere. Well it states (no longer in stores) so where are they ? probably limited to rip off vending machines, pubs & cruise ships
