Hi guys I was hours on net searching for a Bar X fruit maching emulator and finally found one called Club X WDX but when I try to load it with MFME it displays the picture of the fruit machine but it comes up with
1. Error Sound File Not Found
2. Error Sound File Not Found (After I click ok the the previous one)
3. Rom file Not Found

The files in the folder are as follows
ClubXWDX (not sure of extension as it tries to open in Nero Showtime)
ClubXWDX (Not sure of extension as it tries to open with Realone Presentation)
ClubXWDX.gam file

If you cannot help with problem can you possible tell me where to get a Bar X (O X and BAR on reels) rom to play with an emulator.

Jesus bloody christ :o I wish Microsoft would NOT hide the bloody extensions!!

Anyway, the one opened by RealPlayer, thats the RAM file. RAM is the part of the machines memory which stores the current play state, i.e £ in, £out, percentage, e.t.c. It is exactly the same as the RAM that would be found on the original machine.

The file which NERO attempts to open should end in .DAT, which contains all of the graphics, displays, buttons e.t.c required for emulation.

Basically, all that you have is the LAYOUT for the machine. That is, you have the bits which are put together to allow you to emulate the machines code. You actually need to download the machines code as well, normally referred to as ROMS.

I'm not sure if this is an error with my computer at the moment, seems to me that when I download a ZIP file it is almost always corrupted :S

Anyway, I'll get a link to the ROMs you need and will post the link in here!

...To get this to work, you need to right click on the link below, and press either 'Save as target', or if you use a download accelerator, such as Flashget, something like 'Download with Flashget'.....

...Failing that, the ROMs can be found by searching for 'X' , as the X was put in quote marks on the ROM download!

All you have to do then, is extract the files from that zip file, and put them in the SAME FOLDER as the other Club X files you have. Hopefully it'll work afterwards, if not, let us know :)

raise the delay in the configuration menu, the higher the delay the slower the reels will be.

ok thnks hehe a lot better now.

oh by the way is there 1 big file here that I can download for all the roms on this site like a zip file that extracts them into the appropriate folders for the roms (ie, JPEM, BFM, MFME) ? would make it a lot easier than doing them 1 by 1
