their are different versions of software, mostly the updated versions include updated graphics and pie gamble.

try finding the lowest version or if you cant do that just try all of them


pitty nobody has got this working on a pc

But would sit down Bpak and Game Card with Pik Chip run ok in an Enhanced Rio cab, ie will it mess the screens up or anything, I was presuming not as even a sit down has 2 screens, albeit one is usually the big plasma at the back.

I don't wanna try sit down stuff if it's gonna cock anything up, I'm only asking cos I know of a sit down came card with Pik for sale and if I got it would it be easy for someone with a sit down machine to get their Bpak onto a USB and then upload it on here.

Problem is, I'm on holiday from tonight and could really do with knowing as if it will work, I don't wanna miss the chance to get it

My thoughts are that it's coming up with that error as there#'s no game installed and no card and Pik either.

But can't be sure as I haven't been able to find any literature on error codes for B3 machines yet

Just finished reading through this thread, some really interesting stuff here! Glad you got your machine working Chasnbons, just got to get thos PIK chips now!

That does seem to be some progress getting the machine to sort of run on a PC with no additional hardware. God knows what that error message means, but probably something to do with not finding the MPU5 connected and not being able to write to it. Possibly. lol!

sounds that way im sure that error is mpu5 not found.

I dont think its the MPU message, on my machine it usually says "MPU5 offline"... or "MPU USB Connection not found".

But who knows, there could be a host of different messages to do with the MPU!

Have a look at my last post in your other thread, it might help.

Also after reading this thread again, it looks more like the card/pik isn't the one for the game that's installed, I'd deff try booting in door open mode first.

Or if that doesn't work and you have had the card out, make sure it's back in correctly, I have a verification error and it was due to me not pushing card back home properly.

If you card is for elvis and the installed game is say rainbow riches then in door closed (normal mode) it won't verify the game as the card/pik isn't for that game, but it SHOULD still boot in demo with door open, or at least mine did.

Also how hard is it to bet a copy of youe sit down elvis off your machine and onto your pc, I only ask as I got (hopefully) a sit down elvis card/pik coming this week and I'm not sure whether it will work without the sit down software and I want to cover all poss porbs before it arrives.
