I was reliving the good old days playing Online, probably the first ever fruitie i played, when i remembered Top Sprint, a truely awesome game, or so my selective nostalgic memory seems to think lol
Anyone know what tech this mighty game used and if its likely to be emulated anytime soon. I haven't seen this machine in over ten years which is a shame as it was quite entertaining and one of the first games to have a win streak feature.
There were also a few 10p a credit £3 jackpots machines with melon meter cash pots and such from around that era. Anyone remember some of there names and if they are emulated also?

Top Sprint

I remember the melon meter.....definitely JPM. A lot of the machines aren't emulated yet.....remember Supatrack? Big Banker?

i noticed someone around here is using the old jpm reels as his message tag. They still are the best looking reel symbols imho. You gotta love the curly "?"'s

Money go round i think was one with the melon meter. There were a couple of others though, one had a 50p cash-pot/reserve thing... 3 50p's in a row and half the time the reserve was full - 3 or 4 rows of 50p's.
Ah the fun old machines. (And the days of *real* skill chances instead of the shhhhhht of skills that would go up and down the ladder different lengths. God that pissed me off when those machines proliferated!

Very soon now, a new version of MFME will be released. This will have MPS and System 80 techs included so provided the roms are in the bag, Top Sprint will be emulated. Word has it that Electrocoin emulation is also cracked so Bar X could be on the cards with the coming up emulator release.
Check out the 'Official MFME' website :- http://www.mfme.co.uk/
Some screenies of whats been emulated for the forthcoming MFME2. Theres some sounds on the site too.
