Ok i have been on the forums for about 7 years now in total. Like to help members/site wherever i can. Have now decided to take the plunge and make a classic. My friend is coming round tonight to dump my machine roms and ill start in it tomorrow. Any good advice/starting points? Im okish with computers and will follow the guides that are available, any good pointers on where to start etc would be gratefully appreciated.. Once i have done the classic i will let anyone have full high res pics etc to do a decent dx...

As pook asked "what machine is it", in any case this'll give you some pointers.
I know you mentioned you'd seen tutorials, but in case you missed this I personally found it very informative.

I thought this was going to be a thread about sommat else and got all excited. Never mind. What machine is it - I am in suspense if the ROMs haven't been dumped yet and aren't currently available. If it is Clickety Click by JPM I might just have to perform sexual favours......

Thanks for already chiiping in lads!!! one of the submains in a block i maintain decided to melt on tuesday so been a bit hectic.. Im off all weekend and the roms will be dumped tomorrow. Sorry for it not being and old classic, pook junky etc lol Its a bully for you, and seemingly about the last barcrest we can emulate (at the moment!). Im sure i will be pestering you lot something rotten, but thanks already!!

Not 100% sure here but this gives off errors in the emulator and crashes alot because theres to many sound samples for mfme to handle.I read up on it somewere.

Agreed! 4 sound roms which MFME can't handle properly IIRC.Not 100% sure here but this gives off errors in the emulator and crashes alot because theres to many sound samples for mfme to handle.I read up on it somewere.

Shame...i like these dart based machines .. hope one day these are 'runnable' in the emulator.

Is it not possible to load in alternative sound ROMs or just two of them or something? Or does the machine know something is amiss and just not run at all then?
There's really very little on MPU5 that personally I feel we've 'missed out on' as it were, with the exception of the darts machines. (And Reds, of course
)AWPs all went to shit with the £35 JP anyway.

I only ever got sent the .hex file think it was from Andy, they usually need the sound roms - why Empire mpu5 roms wont run mute it says its missing xx rom etc
