This is an advance warning that this site and all sites hosted on the Fruit-Emu server will be down for an extended period of time starting at 10pm on 19th August 2011. This is because of a decision made by the company I rent the server from to move all their servers to a new data centre. The reason they are moving all servers is because of continual networking problems they have been having with the current data centre. Moving the server physically is therefore going to take time to unplug it, transport it safely and reconnect it at the other end. After this the server will be given an new IP address on the internet which is going to cause no end of hassle for me. I would estimate the downtime as being in the region of 12 to 36 hours allowing for any networking problems I encounter.

Thanks for the info, this sounds like it will be a bit longer than 12/36 hours could a be a few days, hope not tho.
