Hi again all,

Could someone tell me what the compact flash card is. I am going to try to setup an nv10 note acceptor in an horizon cabinet with mpu5 barcest the empire strikes back fruit machine, but I have been reading about the compact flash game card. My question is, do I need this card to set the note acceptor up.

Thank you for any help.

Kind regards.

Rob.

Hi chris1,

Thanks for your reply, can I ask how it is put into test mode? I have got the field service manual MPU5 but it is as clear as mud to me LOL.

Can I ask another thing also, on the MPU5 board there is stake keys dongle percentage keys dongle and a bank of switches called options, would you know what they all mean. I have just pressed one switch on the stake dongle and tried to start the machine up and it just said INVALID KEY? I duly put it back quickly.

Thanks again for your help.

Kind Regards.

Rob.

Stake/Prize key and % key are used to set Stake/Prize and % denominations, attached pics might help you, you just switch them on and off to the settings you want, it said INVALID KEY prob because you switched it to something which isn't on the lists in pics.

Hope this helps
