Hi again all,

As you may have seen from my other posts I have machine The Empire Strikes Back fruit machine by barcrest.

My question is:

I have an NV10 Note Acceptor, are these easy enough to fit on this machine IS THERE A STEP BY STEP GUIDE and would there be any setting up of the acceptor in other words, is it hopefully, Plug N Play.

They are generally quite easy to fit but double check as there may be different roms which you would also need to put in.

Hi all,

Got the NV10 note acceptor but the connections are different? (if I can upload pics ill show you).

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to connect this note acceptor?

When I picked the machine up they said an NV10 note acceptor would not fit as it was setup for something called japcash whatever that is?

MPU6, and it's a right bag of nails.

pretty sure this is mpu5. you may have to get a jcm notey or a loom for the nv10.

Could I possibly ask if anyone has a wiring loom that will fit the Empire Strikes Back and the nv10 note acceptor that they wish to sell, also a blanking plate that also fits these two the nv10 and the machine.

There is a blanking plate on it but I would have to cut the plate and it's quite thick, so rather get one that is holed out ready if anyone could help.

Do you mean £70 Jackpot? We had a £75 Star Wars in a local club (on 5p play) but I'm pretty sure it was A New Hope. Even though it was Barcrest branded, it always felt more like an Extreme Games machine to me (bit like the Rocky they had beforehand!).

 

Assuming it's the £70 version you are talking about, all I can assume is it's not ready to pay yet. How much have you actually put into it in total? (without recycling wins?). No expert on £70 machines at all, and never played this one, but since these can repeat to £210, I'd assume they can go £250 or so between jackpots if they want to.

Can take over £700, AMG website rates the clone of this machine called "can you dig it" as 1 Star

 

Its a good machine on £35 or £5 for a casual but on £70 its bad to the bone
