Here's a nice little bonus layout. Was helping out on naming some roms from Trouty, and came across the missing sound rom for this classic Maygay machine from my youth. The samples are really good on this. A mixture of Yamaha sounds with the classic samples of Maygay machines long gone. If Maygay had a 'Hall Of Fame' this machine would be in it. :)

Huge thanks to Retro, for the reel symbols. Couldn't find any new ones so I had to use ones from his previous excellent layouts. And also thanks to Trouty, for the sound rom.

It's a classic layout, not a DX this time as there are no pictures about for it. You also need to install the font "ICOIN" into your 'Fonts' folder in order to see everything properly, which is included in the zip-file.

Shortcuts for this, are:

Cancel - `
Hold 1 - 1
Hold 2/HI - 2
Hold 3/LO - 3
Collect - C
Start - Space
20 Token Insert - 9
£1 Insert - 0

Use MFME3.2 to play. Have fun!

EDITED TO ADD: The Casino version of this has also been added to the download. Set to £4.80/20p/74%. :)

If you're on XP, go into the Control Panel (start/Control Panel) and you should see a folder called "Fonts". Just drag the "ICOIN" font into that folder, and it'll be done. If you're on Vista/7, just type in "fonts" into the search bit, and you should be able to find the folder that way.

Its mazin to c this emulated.
There was a slot that had diamonds on it and when u got to the top of the feature it gave u a win strek but wth u hitting the cash sums, encased in diamonds-sure was 20p/£4.80 or 20p/£6.Had a massive strek on it(which most token slots did.
Just cant remember what it was called-mayb 1 day it will just turn up

Many thanks for this Ploggy, a machine from the early days of my gambling mayhem years and one I vividly remember :)

Originally released as 20p/£4.80, this later £6 ROM appears to have quite a few differences, unless my memory is failing (which is quite possible).

I remember the wins as not offering exchanges and the main BAR-GAIN feature as using barcodes to select a feature rather than a random selection, I think you got 2 or 3 attempts at putting in a barcode and then you were stuck with what you had. (I always went for WIN SERIES unless the nudges were the double bars or sevens.)

Then again, it's a long time ago, so I could be horribly mistaken :jiggy:

Unfortunately I'm on Windows 7 so don't get the full experience (I held out for as long as I could with XP just to keep FME working properly, but in the end I had to move over for DX11 support), but that's not your fault :D

Cheers for this Ploggy, definitely one I'll put some time into. (Are there any earlier ROMs available? I'd be interested to know if I just made most of this post up out of my imagination.)

There's one other rom available for this, and a couple of roms for the casino version of it. Perhaps that's the version you remember with the barcode, mate? I know the casino version has a completely different lamp/reel setup, so you can't just simply load that rom into this. I'll investigate further and see if it's any different. Nice to see you posting, by the way. :)

I've added the 'Casino' version of this which used the barcode for the features instead of the exchange method. Plays really badly compared to the first version. I don't know if that's because of the percentage, which can only go up to 74%, or the fact that you use the barcode to get the features instead. Anyway. It's been added so you can judge for yourself. :)

Ahh yes this is definitely the revision I remember, £4.80 token jackpot, £2.40 repeater, barcodes for features and no win exchanges.

Not sure why one of my locals was running this machine on the 'casino' ROMs in the early 90s, but this is certainly the way I remember it, and yes the later chipset revision does actually play a better game (uniquely for Maygay, they did tend to make their games better through software revisions, see also Deluxe Monopoly).

Cheers for including this in the release Ploggy, it's a worse machine like this but it feels more 'real' to me so it's the one I'll play :D
