Hi,

I have a MIDI file on my pc and I want to have it as my ringtone on my phone. Is there any Free software anywhere that allows you to do so? I have looked everywhere! Any sugestions?

Thanks in advance.

Bongo there is no 'free' software that does it, but if you look in the right places you'll find it for free

I got it with 1000's of ring tones and all you do is run the software, choose your ring tone, then it connects to the internet, then using your phones web browser you type in the ulr, normaly its your IP, something like http://213.152.23.23 and your phone downloads it from your PC

The software is called 'Coding Workshop Polphonic wizard v2.3'

Also look for software that converts tunes and sounds to MIDI, so you could have Partytime as your ring tone

Nokia's connection software allows you to send midi files straight to your mobile via cable or infrared. It comes with all packaged phones when bought on a cd.

Hell ive got about 20 of these cds here so if you cant find one i will see how big the composer software is and upload it.

Mobile Music Polyphonic 1.5 <<< You can convert mp3 & wav to MIDI. But it can come out sounding very very bad, You're best to convert it and then edit it as best you can using the composer to get it sounding right, but it can be very difficult :?

Pgamblin, how exactly to you send ring tones by infared? Do you need to have the latest phones for this to work? :puzzled:

Depends if the phone can handle Mono or Poly ringtones
