Even tho i have had problems with virgin the last few days I cant complain about the speeds I get. I pay £40 a month for tv, phone and 50mb BB. Untill sky go optical they will always be behind virgin.

I must say i have never had any issues with virgin,
I have my TV,Phone,Mobile and my 50mb internet from them and if and i mean if i have had any probs they sort immediatly and i also get a goodwill credit added to my account.
When i was with sky i had issues left right and centre, for a start i was paying for upto 24mb and only got about 3mb the tv service was always on the blink and then after being with them for about 5 years when i moved home everything was ok until a few weeks later i lost my tv service they said £65 callout fee then a charge to repair any issues.
i would say by far virgin is the best, you get what you pay for :-)

Yep..nothing really to add to that..ive been with VM about 11 years now and i havent really had that much problems with them..half a dozen 10 times at the most but they have been very quick at trying to resolve the issue.
Had the guy from BT round at my door yesterday infact..asking what services i had from VM..he said he would do the same for about £20 cheaper..but couldnt say what speed BB i would get..'i know people round here to get 17 or 18meg..but others to get 4-5meg.
If i dropped my BB from a steady 30mb to 4mb id be fkin ragin..ill stick with VM for the moment untill as Rob says BT Infinity come to my area..then we will talk.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.

Virgin Media for me aswell SKY take the piss they bring out new channels put football and all the best shows on it and make sure only people on SKY can watch them total twats I would NEVER go over to SKY cos of the way they treat people who pay for the movies and sports we get half the stuff we should and pay the same

well....
ive got 20mb broadband which is ample, but i have to say the quality of the standard TV service is absolutly shite. ive got a 42" plasma and the flaws on the signal really show at this level. we bought the v+ box for some 69.99 and although its made an improvement, i do indeed drool when i see sky hd.

My vote goes to sky. I have had both VM and sky and as a heavy downloader I cant be doing with the capping that vm impose on there lines.
Sky never throttles me. I had a small problem at the beginning of sky but they gave me a full year lines rental free so I really cant complain lol

It would be £35 if we payed by direct debit, and yes that includes the line rental.

Deffo VM, especially after seeing what Sky was trying to do, by ripping me sister off for about £100, after all she did, was change the billing name to hers, after splitting with her partner.
