In order for them to function properly, the user must place http:// as shown below:

http://www.???.com

Without http:// the tags don't render properly and the lik displays as normal text.

EDITED: helps if i spell http properly!!!

This is by design. You don't have to enter the tags at all just enter the http:// and then the site url and it will be turned into a link automatically.

Do you mean when you require to a normal post such as this one?

Shoutbox is OK for me.

Anyone else getting this because it doesn't happen for me. Have you tried in a different browser Todd to see if it is browser related?

How come now when you click a link in the shoutbox or in a post it will open a new window and take you to the link but it will also direct fruit emu to the same page too. Very strange.

Doesn't do that for me. The link is opened in a new page (as it should be) but FE stays on the same page (as it should).

Thanks, it was an image missing from the surface theme to show that the user has contributed a tutorial.
