Ok....I'll admit I got a little bored and annoyed with this layout earlier, seeing as how MFME decided to corrupt my layout on several occasions, and random lamps vanished :S

Heres the version as it stands now - I don't think theres any obvious errors, although a couple of graphical glitches which I'll see if I can sort out :

www.apso32.dsl.pipex.com/BB1280.zip

I'm hosting on my webspace while this is in an alpha stage, so that I don't waste the bandwidth on this site with a layout that may need replacing!

The bonus position [4] interferes with the middle reel, sometimes appearing as white boxes on top of the reel. Seems to clear itself up though!

Two lamps disappeared - those for the 3x JP symbols, and the £15 decal next to them. For some reason, adding + masking these causes the layout to crash, so I'll find out why that is later!

I think all of the shortcuts are OK, if not, please let me know whats wrong!

In fact - ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL - just reply to this thread and I'll sort them out, and release a fixed version tomorrow [and a 1024x768]

that is because mfme does not support global 7segs in its standard configuration, to get around it on my psycho cash beast hybrid which also used the bangin away roms i made it in v8.75 of the emulator which did support them.

if barcrestbenito made the layout in that emulator opening it in that would sort it.

i also think that RB worked out how to fix the problem with mfme so if he reads this he may be able to tell you what to do.

Cheers for the replies chaps - I bet if it were the actual Big Bro there would have been 1000s of replies by now.....no, probably not, seeing as how under 1% of this site actively post :(

I'll see what I can do, at least these posts are better than those at Poundrun :)

When will people realise that layout designing is already a [mainly] thankless task, and taking the piss is not necessary?

Cheers Ldc :)

I'm looking forward to redoing this as a 1024 later today -

Maybe with the 1024 MFME won't go mad while I put the layout together, and lamps won't start disappearing :)

Same as before, if anybody would be interesting in playtesting the 1024 release, reply to this thread, as I really can't be arsed to change to 1024 resolution :)

The 1024 will be out later today [Thurs 3rd June], but I'm too tired and 'guinessed' to work on it now.

It'll be [and this is only a rough guide!]....6:13pm?

I agree with what your saying. I don't do layout designing myself for two reasons 1) my pc is too old n slow to run MFME or JPeMu properly so i would be designing purely for everyone else and would never get to play my stuff. 2) i have neither the time or the patience to sit down and painstakingly lamp every lamp etc. I am, however, very grateful that there are people out there, like ur self, who are dedicated to designing layouts. Without you lot there would be little need for emulators as there would be no games to play. Keep up the good work lads. and Cheers.

And I am grateful also to....Name a few.......Pash, Hurtand, Fruitymad, Dad, Pook, Compost, BB....Need I go on?..........Everybody who helped me do my first release and Second etc!...And who continue to help me when problems arise.....I am no exception.anybody who want's to learn there is so much help out there on Fruit-Emu.......And I found any of these guy's will assist 100%..........I look at these layouts.........layouts that are not really correct due to the Emulation not being possible at the time and they are knocked down....I can only suggest these people do their 'Homework' and see what people like BB do to give us what we want..And that is a hell of a lot of hard work to make it as real as possible........

Yet another EXCELLENT and SUPERB and FUN game to play. Thanks BB, this is another example of the high quality work which gets put into designing layouts. I only wish I could harness just 1% of your graphical skills. Thanks again for putting out another great game.

One of the sounds the game uses comes from one of my favorite Spanish fruit machines and just playing this one brought back some fun memories from over 8 years ago.
