Hi guys hope you can help,

I have brought the Monty Phtyon Club Machine, and the coin mech will not direct any coins in the hopper, I have put it on test and the machine knows it's empty, (The warning cash low etc light it on), and I played it whist it was empty, still the coins went straight to the back.

I hope (and think), this is something really simple, as the person i brought it from assured me it was working OK.

Any ideas??

Cheers!!

Hi hope this helps

Cashflow 126

Also states on a sticker on the coin mech

connection for the coin mech interface
oin Control
Ensure the 17 way plug is fitted to connector 2, the sorter override is fitted to connection 3, and the routing plug marked COIN CONRTOL is fitted to connector 4.
MARS
For the cash flow
Ensure the 17 way routing plug marked MARS is fitted.

Also the hopper has a 20p tube conntected to this, and this is not going into the overflow when full, a sensr is fitted though.

Thanks to anyone who can help!!

Look at the small oblong block with wires inter connected on the side of the mech and make sure it is not loose. It is a push fit. Also check that the wires going in to the routing plug are not loose. Also make sure the hopper is pushed fully in to its connection.

Generaly when you get a new machine, you should check before you even plug the machine in, that all plugs from and to the control boards, mechs and payouts are not loose. Vibration from travel commonly looses a bulb or plug.

Thanks

I have checked the plugs and the coins are still by passing the hopper, infact it is dumping every coin in one box, rather than seperating the £1 coins,

took the words out of my mouth!

whenever there is a routing problem, its 99.99% the case the a routing plug has come out/not inserted correctly. after speaking to the boys over at mpu-mecca it is indeed possible to build your own routing plug and deem what coins go where.... but not for the fait hearted.

Thanks for that, I know it's possible to re reroute coins from the mech, as fortunately if you google cashflow 126, the technical and program manual is downloadable, i agree it's not for the fait hearted!!.
