Hi Ive just got a B3 and im having trouble getting the note acceptor to work, it makes a noise when the machine is turned on but wont accept any notes. and theres no lights where you put the note in.

is there an option somewhere to turn it on?

thanks

Is there not a HOPPER TOP UP button inside the machine? If you press that, it makes the machine believe it is full, so hopefully the note acceptor will start working a bit more

i tried the hopper topped up button but didnt work, ive put £150 in but still no joy, and i went into service mode and went on the notey checked, when i clicked onit the lights came on and it took my £20note no problem.

but still doesnt work when playing the game, do these use normal refill keys?

try doing a hopper dump.

1 put all your pound coins in the hopper.
2 open cash and front door.
3 turn refill key
4 select hopper on screen.
5 press dump button inside cashbox.
6 that will count the coins.
7 just put coins back in hopper and turn key back and shut doors.

its an auto-off because their are not enough coins inside. like KDS says above, you need to perform a hopper top-up and then close the door and play away.

Yes there is a way without the refill key, behind the refill key there should be 2 wires attached, just pull both wires off the switch then join them with a paper clip (bent to end to end!) then when u've finished take the paper clip off, job done!
