Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone out there can identify a fruit machine for me.I dont have too many clues but maybe someone can help. 1.the machine is made by barcrest sometime in the 80's. 2. it has 3 reels. 3. it had a feature ladder on the right hand side. 4. the highest number on each reel is 5, therefore the feature ladder tops at 15. 5. i remember the middle reel had a grape with a number 5 on it. thats all the clues i have for now,if you can identify the machine perhaps you could also tell me if there happens to be a rom and an emulator that runs it ! many thanks for taking the time to read this.regards, mark

Hello Mark, welcome to the Forum.

I can't think of One, but you may get lucky looking at the MPU Mecca's Gallery

Could be "Strike A Light"?

SAL is what I'd have said. That or Razzle Dazzle, but that doesn't have the "ladder" on the right hand side.

Hi everybody, many thanks to all who replied-it is "strike a light".My best memory of this machine is holding the middle grape which has a number "5" stamped on it and watching reels 1 and 3 bringing in the other 2 "5" numbers. This made the feature ladder light up "jackpot" and then gave me multiple holds after thus emptying the machine in tokens-about £30's worth which was a lot back in the "80s"-west st brighton bottom arcade-my hometown.

LOL - i got barred from MWH leisure the bottom arcade. did the strike-a-light thing for £50, though it went empty they allowed me to put another quid in.

then the eldest son barred me for it. what a tosser.

Thanks for the thanks - you've found the emulated version I take it:

Always thought this machine was a tight git. Caveman did a good write up of the clubber version in Walking With Cavey @ The Mecca if you are intersted. And no I still haven't got the bloody jackpot on it yet.

spoken like a true west streeter! you will be pleased to know that mwh has gone and has been replaced by a tacky theme bar. oh! and yes the eldest son is a tosser of the highest order.
