Blackberry Curve Help

hi folks,got a problem with the other half`s 8520 curve - its giving the dreaded white screen of death.ive tried a reload of the OS as i was told, and ive tried all the other tricks suggested on blackberry forums. just wondered if anyone else had had the same or similar problem. (the phone seems to work BTW)and if anypne had any other tips /ideas as to whats wrong. thanks in anticipation

Had the same problem on my Samsung D500 years ago, but if I took the battery & sim out for a few mins then stuck 'em back in it was usually fine. Might have to do it a few times before it worked again though!

thats exactly what Blackberry themselves say. ive tried everything,but im stuck with this bloody white screen lol. the screen isnt damaged at all and as i say the phone functions properly when it rings. just cant see nowt on screen :o
