She is a beauty, played on her for nearly 5 hours non-stop last night.
Started with Rainbow Riches POG and then played Progressive Rock.
Will never need to go to the bookies or any AGC centres again :)

Now to read the manual that came with my t777.
And got a week off work next week so lots of gaming to be had.

Im mega happy with the games I have installed on my T777 cab, got the Xmas theme on Rainbow Riches POG and made me laugh :D
Tonight it maybe a bit of Rainbow Games.

Found that even when the t777 is not connected to another i.e like in the AGCs you still get the community bonus feature on Rainbow Riches Party and Rainbow Games.

Just been a massive update for T777's  that removes the 9 game menu limit.

Pretty cool :)

You've not seen the Gala t7s? They have well over 20 games on menu and have done for ages. It's a 2 page setup. Most likely made for Galas only, not seen it anywhere else.

I've never been to a Gala but had heard that their T777s had well over 20 games to choose from.
That update sounds awesome :)

Fair enough :)

Have you backed up the hard drive yet?

Oh, and do you know if your machine is MPU5 or MPU6?

Brilliant :)

The way I did it was to copy the hard drive to my PC by way of some sort of cloning software. After a few days I realised I wasn't sure if it had worked, so I went out and bought a new hard drive, copied the data from the clone (which was on my pc hard drive) to the new hard drive, took the old hard drive out of the bandit, and put the brand new one in, and it worked. At which point I then had 2 working hard drives and a further cloned copy just for safety!

Both MPU5 and 6 versions are reliable in the MPU side/  respect, but the 6 is much better and tells you whats wrong on the display when alarming which is good.

As for the themes yes they are selected when you want them they don't change auto...

and Bash im sure you will be able to get exec 10 yourself :)

Lol what makes you think I can get it myself?! :)

As for the info on themes cheers, thats interesting - I've got them all installed on my machine (well about 12 anyway), so I'll put the Halloween one on next and then Xmas one at Christmas time!

The MPU6 version flashes the LED boards, which the MPU5 doesn't, also it flashes the door inserts on MPU6 as they are full LED lights, whereas on the MPU5 its cold cathode tubes which don't do anything.

Other than than, not a massive difference between the two other that that described above.

why would you want to backup the Hd on a triple 7?  IMHO its only the old rio cabinet that needed this done - and thats because people were fcking around with different bpak files. elvis on the repro was corrupt and gave no end of errors for everyone.

whilst there is nothing wrong with precaution, HD backup is a term repeated so many times that its been taken on as gospel that it needs to be done on all barcrests - no so peeps.

When I upgraded my 777's executive it shrunk the screen to a quarter of the size, errored upon boot, and only a reimaged hard drive fixed it. Then when I attempted the executive upgrade again, it worked fine.

Oddities do happen from time to time.

A backup isn't something I'd be without, although the 777 exec IS a lot hardier than the Rio's, which broke at every opportunity presented.

i guess if your machine is stand-alone (or at home without an engineers presence) then fair enough.

Exactly.

I've no access to resources of any kind. If something goes wrong, I *need* to be able to fix it myself, without being reliant on anyone else.
