Right click on desktop properties then settings change to 1280

If your monitor doesnt go to that then you will have to stick with the 1024 layouts

Hope this helps

It is understandable to be a little lets say, frustrated when layouts are too large for some peoples PC system. What you have to realise is that often, those layouts were created in those sizes purely due to the fact that the designer himself has his display set at that resolution as a standard. I've heard many terms for the exclusive release of 1280 sized layouts, some as nasty as 'elitist' but the only way to enjoy all layouts released is to either upgrade to a suitable monitor resolution or wait for a smaller version of the layout to be released.

People seem to think it's a spite thing when large layouts are released but it's not. As I mentioned above, it's the standard operating resolution of the designer.

If you look back a few years, even 1024 sized layouts were considered out of reach by a fair few. Times move on and that standard becomes the norm. One day, who knows, maybe even 1280 sized resolutions will be considered as small.
