i have a gamebox and for the most part it works good, but i not so happy with the limited games / having to find and buy dongles etc.

is it possible to install a different system but maintain the use of coin in and coin out etc

or any other suggestions would be great

I have been attempting to tackle this problem myself recently.

I have tried XP and MicroXP but both keep randomly restarting...
I am currently trying to get a 95 installation together, hopefully I will be able to somehow copy drivers accross to use the Hopper and coin mech... I will keep you posted!!

You will be able to use the coin mech with an IPAC controller (couldn't tell you exactly how without butchering my MAME arcade machine amd GameBox coinmech which is not an option..... yet LOL)

I am unsure if the edited EXE's will accept coin inputs or payout.... If someone could clear that up it would be useful!!

If its any use I have Battleships, Weakest Link, Strike Quiz (One CD) and Who wants to be a millionaire (another CD)

If need be I could (Eye Sew :wink:) them for you....

EDIT - Just realised this is an old(ish) post..... oh well has ANYONE had any joy with this??
