Last Saturday I booked up for me and becky to go to a sun £9.50 holiday

I have to pay for the holiday home based on 4 + £38.00
£1.50 booking fee) and camp surcharges

not 2 fussed about that,

but I have been charged twice, I got a statement from my local Barclays

and it was on twice, my mate said thats just tough lick and I should just take it as an admin error.

I have complained by email

do you think I have a case

if you have been charged twice then yes phone them up to get a refund on the second payment.

we go on these £9.50 trips every year and its great value for money and have never had any problems.

looks like just an admin error.

A simple email advising you have been charged twice should be sufficient to get an immediate refund. You have done the right thing..

I couldn't believe what I'd heard at work about these holidays. I personally have never had a problem with them, and always had my first choice of park but...

A friend at work is part of a website (netmums or something) and they try to crack the passwords for the online bookings (not exactly difficult with all holday based words, like sun, sand, castle, beach etc lol)

However, they keep a close eye on the Sun Holdays page and book/announce as soon as the page opens.

Officially, it's meant to open say, on Saturday at 7am, however, this year it was open by 8pm the night before, and with the codes broken, a lot of people booked their holidays online before us normal people even got a chance.

I'm not going on one of these this year as I'm off abroad, however, I've heard of a few people in work that have had all 3 choices rejected as they're fully booked before saturday morning.

I think that's a little unfair.

Hi Tommy

If thay have taken the same payment twice then you obviously have case to get the 2nd payment refunded, as this is obviously an admin error somewhere down the line.

hi tommy
the same thing happened to us last year!

(dnt suppose u booked your sun hol at a parkdean camp did u?)

they took the payment twice and it put me in a bit of a mess with other outgoings etc thru the bank

ring them up and ask to spk to the manager

threaten to cancel your hol if not refunded for the 2nd error payment
oh and btw, for the hassle i ensured i got a free top of the range upgrade to the newest caravan on the park for the hassle

make sure u get something along these lines mate
hope this helps
steve
