FIRST I NEED TO EXPLAIN ABOUT MY PC.
ITS A DUAL BOOT SYSTEM RUNNING "WINDOWS 2000 PRO" AND "WINDOWS XP PRO".
MY PRIMARY HARD DRIVE IS PARTITIONED INTO 2 HALVES.
WIN 2000 IS 32 BIT FAT
WIN XP IS NTFS
I HAVE A SECOND HARD DRIVE (SECONDRY MASTER) WHICH I SHOVE ALL MY CLUTTER AN DOWNLOADS ON, (AND MY SLOTS) WHICH IS 32 BIT FAT FILE SYSTEM, (SAME AS 2000 PRO).

IF I BOOT MY PC INTO XP AND PLAY ON MY SLOTS IT RUNS REALLY SLOW (ON FME). BUT BFM AND JPM RUN JUST GREAT. :bigups:

IF I BOOT INTO 2000 PRO THEY ALL WORK JUST FINE!
BUT MY INTERNET IS SET UP ON XP AND ITS REALLY FRUSTRATING HAVING TO REBOOT EVERYTIME I WANT ON EITHER 1 OR THE OTHER.

SO IF ANYBODY CAN HELP ME WITH THE ANSWER TO RESOLVING MY DILEMMA. PLEASE DO SO ASAP. THANKS. :eusa_pra:

Firstly....

What speed CPU do you have?
How much RAM do you have?

XP can be a right bastard on resources, so I would recommend at least a 750MHz and 256mb RAM for MFME to run well under it. If you have more than that, then have you tried adjusting the Delays to compensate?

In MFME, click on Config, and there should be a box called Delay, with a numeric value in it. Make that value LOWER - Don't go below 50 as that used to cause problems on my comp. Feel free to try though!

Why is it that people assume that a computer in bits is a crap computer? I have 3 rigs that look just like that....this one looks OK, but it hasn't got the drive stealth panel, so theres a big hole at the front :)

(ctrl - alt - del) in xp and change the priority of mfme should sort things.
Cyberpunk:- alienated loner who lives on the edge of society in generally dystopic future where daily life is impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.....Hmmmmm

Maybe you have to many things running in the background using all the CPU.

As others say, check the speed from the configuration dialog but a good idea would be to see how many tasks you have running under xp via Task Manager. (You'll probably find a heap of crap you weren't even aware of)
