Right picked me up a dreamcast last week for £3, just needed new pads (which i got for £6 inc p&p & 2 memory cards )

anyway problem is, whenever i burn these selfbooting games none of them actually boot, 1 has worked out of the 10 ive tried (and thats sonic adventure) tried using different disks, still nothing and yes they are CD-R and not RW etc

any ideas?

tis the same with the utopia boot CD, it just plays as an audio D like most of the other self boots >.>

help please?

Ah dreamcast must get a new one of these......I have hunderds of copies.....think thats what f***ed up the DC - i have keyboard, mouse, gun and micophone.......seaman anyone lol........

How are you burning them? I can't remember exactly, but I think they've got to be DAO Raw burned with Alcohol.

only thing you should need to change is the bottom drop box to playstation
the first file should be exactly as a 360 .dvd file and load correct settings for you i think i don't use a120% so i don't know myself i don't have a dreamcast either if it was a 360 i could easily help you with anything too do with them
except unbanning you on a 8955 kernell ..

burning them as CDI/Discjuggler images

@ either 8x or 16x

tried both, still the same result

Use Alcohol Matty. I think it will be a conflict with your GFX card though.

Havent done these for a long time, use to use prog called cdrwin also fireburner works.

edit: nlooking back at alcohol i dont have the optuion to use RAW/DOA

When I used Alcohol I think I had a RAW/DOA option. I have not used it for yonks so I'm sorry I cannot be of more help.

a lot has changed since i used it 6 months ago

now you cant put a serial in/patch it properly

but you can edit registry enteries so it never expires ;D

will have a mess about with it, waiting for my new pads to come anyways
