Matty, I know you are trying to be clever and funny, but that really doesn't help tommy in his question, does it? He was asking seriously.
I am a member at Fruit Forums, and I post there, however I haven't got a car, couldn't tell you one make from the other and certainly do not $&%# over the thought of them! Not all the members of that site are in anyway interested in cars or their PC specs - infact, I haven't a clue what the specs to my computer, or my laptop are.
So in some threads, especially where the posts are getting heated, it would be wise not to interrupt with your sometimes pointless posts - it doesn't make you look good and clever - quite the opposite in fact.
I know you are a teenager in your later years, but, especially in the threads about the history of FME, you haven't been on the scene all that long, and although you may have read through some of pages of history of FME, you haven't experienced it throughout them years, so pointless posts in those threads do not help your cause lad.
I am not against you having fun on this site, hell, I have given up on all the noobs that have joined up here in the last couple of years or so, but please try and respect some threads and posts from people with history of FME and don't try and get yourself involved in some things that you really don't know anything about - hey, I have been a member of all FME forums since 2002, and sometimes even I don't know all the ins-and-outs!

First off, Yahoo, Hotmail etc. addresses are currently banned to stop spammers.
I had to plough through 55 new user requests yesterday and try and weed out the real people from the spam. If you use an ISP or similar email address, it makes it very easy for me to approve your account.
Signing up with a username like "he1284@hotmail.com" doesn't fill me with confidence, so your account gets deleted.
There is a "Contact Us" option for any problems with the site.
I get many emails daily from it asking why I've banned someone's email address when they've never posted here etc.
I reply to each and every one with a standard message, telling people it's blocked due to spammers but if they sign up again with a "real" email address I'll approve the account.
I also mention that if this is not possible, I'll manually create them an account with their requested details.
I understand that this can be frustrating for people trying to join the site, but the alternative is the place gets plagued by spammers and the Mods and I spend most of our time chasing them.
Given the very little amount of spam that actually does get through compared to some other forums I'm a member of, I'd say the system is working.
If anyone still has complaints or issues, use the "Contact Us" option at the bottom right of the page and it will be dealt with.

but a lot of unwashed 15 year olds seem to have joined who think they know eveything about emulation

Nasty stuff like the way you commented on this could be part of the reason - I rarely use FF anymore but have to say very few of them are as nasty as some of the people who have joined FE over the last few years. There are still lots of great people on here but a lot of unwashed 15 year olds seem to have joined who think they know eveything about emulation and FME from reading 5 seconds worth of posts or taking layouts which have already been done and simply resizing them. Maybe some of you aren't the perfect gods you seem to believe?
And some websites I have became a member of it has taken a week/ 2 weeks for registration process to go through or hasn't gone through for various reasons I certainly have not wet the bed over it.
