Hi to keep a long story short me and friend were in the local pub today and ended up putting £75 in a Barcrest Aliens £70 jackpot fruit machine for 1 board that died on the £16 gamble we put in another £15 and still nothing no board no wins so we just left it thinking its going to do it again. all in all about £90 for 1 board i coudnt belive it i have never seen anthing like it the highest price i have ever seen for a board was £40 can anyone beat this for 1 board on a fruity like this?

Ripped for god sake i used to like playing on fruit machines. Today it just seems if your just a casual player then you are going to get robbed blind even more than normal its shocking the thiefing bastards ruining any chance of winning anything

the problem is what starts as a "quick go" can easily lead into hours of "go's" and a big loss, even if you plan to pay with just a tenner... then get nout.. you think "wel surely its bound to pay now, i'll just break into this £20 note i have" then before you know it your walking out of the pub with an empty wallet and the 1 pint you managed to buy yourself doesnt make you feel drunk enough to not be annoyed with the loss.

the only bigger loss iv had on 1 machine in 1 sitting was over £100 on a star wars machine, most it offered overall was about £10, ripoff

as i say all the time these £70jp machines are the biggest scam of all, it robs the player blind and gives the machine owners plenty of free and easy money.

payday for me this week but theres no chance of me putting anything into a £70jp, shame pubs dont have £25/£35 jp machines anymore

I remember the days you could just put your change in from your pint and you could get a bit of play maybe win the money back for the pint but not now. If i wanted to play on big cash machines i would go to a casino or acrade they should bring back smaller jackpots for pubs

yea totally, many times id have an odd few quid in my pocket, after getting a pint in, then win back the money for the pint, it wasnt all the time id win but was quite often and i remember after being in the pub for several hours saying to my mates "hey thoese 10 pints only cost me £2" lol.

now if i want to play for small money i have to go to an arcade to go on some of their £5jp machines, but often i go there for a few spins and end up there for hours lol

Ripped doesn't mean it was robbed mate, it means someone took advantage of a flaw in the software and got an early Jackpot, maybe squeezed out two, therefore the machine went on the extreme take, don't blame the person who ripped the machine, blame the amateur suppliers who haven't got the latest software in their machines.

i totally agree i used 2 play pub fruit machies all the ime but since the 70 j pot came in id rather go 2 the arcade and have a good time and enjoy more and ur money can last longer

There is a guy that comes into the club that i work at.. We generally get £200-£250 jackpot bandits... He comes in and sometimes put in £400 to get the £200 jackpot.. One point he used to do this every day.

been ripped off a few times on the 70 quid jackpots but this last tuesday i went on two deal or no deals, 1 in quicksilvers in town got 40 quid off a 5er ,then i stopped off for a quick pint on way to coop and put my change in another and 2nd press on 25p a spin let me on board and my phones turned straight to red got mega streak for 70 quid, then next press let me on again give me deal or no deal for another 20 quid, so wasnt to bad looks like i got lucky , still think 70 quid is too much should go back to £15/£25jackpots more fun

I don't see what the shocker is here... yes it's a lot of money, but how much do you win compared to the credit ratio?

I've not played the £70's or the £35's really, but tbh, whats the difference between putting £7 in a £5 jp machine and putting £90 into a £70 jp? The stakes are higher, so is the amount it needs to take to offer things. I have many times in the past played £10 of £15 into a £5 without being offered anything apart from the odd win which you lose on the gamle. It's only cause the value has gone up that it's now a problem.

As MANY have said, I'm so glad I don't play them anymore. biggest tip to all out there, keep away from them unless you can afford to lose what you have. If everyone one, they'd not keep the machine.

Hmmmm ... £90 no board. I reckon another £20 would've yielded a good return, say £50. You should've bit the bullet and cracked on.
