I have just bought 'Go For Gold' - Barcrest (my first machine). Very pleased with it but there is a buzzing coming from the sound/speaker. I can remove the connection on the speaker so no buzzing but also no sound 'shock'.

wondered if anybody has any ideas?

(p.s i'm not sure how to change the percentage win rate? i only have the one key to open the screen (front access) and one for the bottom overspill)

Thanks in advance.

for the problem with sound...

change it to maintainance mode, check how high the voume is, try lowering it a bit...
otherwise to me it sounds like a possible speaker cable fault :(

Could be some bad CAP's on the amp part of the machine, or bad wiring.

Best off trying @ The Mecca for help with this, as from what I can guess, you will need to get in there with a soldering iron: The MPU Mecca

Yeah to turn the volume up or down just put the refill key in and turn it with the second hold button pressed in then set the volume to what you want it at.

you might not recognise it in a pub or arcade but most machines have a buzzing sound that you will notice but if its somthing you think its a problem then it could just be some interferance on the board
