had this cabinate for about a year its set to 70% had a few problems including new mainboard and 2 power supplies
the problem is though bout 2 weeks ago the power supply went tits up again and recieved an new one about a week ago so i installed it and it ran up no problem and played away for a start with a full 125 pound in the hopper.
I got a few jackpots in quick sucsession and got it up to 75 pound in the bank. I then played a further 20 quid and got no where losing on gambeling lower on a 11 and higher on a 2 and then on my last couple of credits i managed to get on with a couple of spins to go and collected another jackpot on golden hold the machine then did the usual spew out 25 quid automatically then when it came to putting coins back in they just went down the back instead of into the hopper to top it up as what usually happens i played another couple of pound got the jackpot again it spewed it out as i still had the 75 pound in the bank then i put some back in and it continued to go down the back. i finnaly had a 15 pound win and decided to collect everything at which time ith got down to 15 quid left to pay out and i got an error requesting me to top up the hopper which i expected. what is wrong with my machine as i cant seem to get any money to go in to the hopper - even when using the re-fill key. When i was installing the new cpu i was careful that i didnt hit any of the dip swiches but i cant be 100% sure has anyone had this problem before? your advice would be well appreciated!

My guess is the router plug on the coin mech. Take out the coin mech and check the wires, there is one large white one with several wires on, these are the line inputs and outputs, then there is a smaller white on with 1 or 2 wires coming out from it, this is the router plug, some barcrest machines have 2 of these for different mechs, make sure you have the right one plugged in, finally there should also be a black block connecter on the mech, this is the sorter, it will sort the coins to the correct place when coming out of the bottom of the mech, again there may be 2 of these, make sure the right one is in the mech.
