DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE FIRST EARLY PACMAN FRUITY..(WELL I THINK IT WAS THE FIRST)
it was in the same type of cabinet as the old tupenny nudger fruity..lovely fakewood looking mdf with metal edging..you had to fill segments of the pacman logo to get a feature
also has anyone got any piccies, and has/can it be emulated..please
cheers;)

The first Pac-Man type machine I remember was called Fruit Chaser/Snappa. A JPM machine on the System 80 platform. If the roms turn up, it's a definite possibility of getting emulated. Picture courtesy of the Mecca.

The first Pacman style of machine was Fruit Snappa, which is exactly the same as the picture that Ploggy posted but had a £2 Jackpot. Fruit Chaser was a £3 upgrade. They also did Roadrunner and Frog It (£2) and Frog Hop (£3 Upgrade). They have done a few variations on Pacman since but none before.

Fruit Snappa or Chaser is top of my "please emulate it list".
i am holding out high hopes for this as I think there's a couple of owners over at the Mecca.
Frog Hop hdx by he who shall not be named is my favourite of all the non dx / classics

YOU KNOW WHAT M8.....SPOT ON
the word chaser didnt jog me memory..until i saw the pic and thought hang on! that was a later one i played..lol
then when you posted the words "SNAPPA"....it all snappa,d into place...pardon the pun...
but i still have a very vivid memory in my head of the LARGE "PACCY" on the glass in the chaser pic..being on the lower glass on the snappa version
and the thing lit up in "quarters" whenever you got a paccy sign(i think) on the reels..when full you won a feature
ID LOVE TO SEE A PICCY OF THE OLDER SNAPPA MACHINE..LOL
many thanks for what you lot have found so far...

many happy memories..lol
HOLD THE FRONT PAGE..JUST FOUND THIS..AND ITS ALL CAME BACK TO ME.HA HA
it was NUMBERS ON THE REELS...THE "PACCYS" WERE THE JACKPOT SYMBOLS...LMAO
MEMORY CASE SOLVED...CHEERS ALL..(WELL I WAS ONLY 12 THEN LOL)
